Your Brain Needs You/You Need Your Brain was founded in Houston, TX, in 2026 by Dr. Clemons in response to the rising diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Clemons obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Meharry Medical College in 2003 and has conducted research on Alzheimer’s disease for more than a decade.
Your Brain Needs You/You Need Your Brain's mission is to dispel the belief that Alzheimer’s disease is something that only older adults should be concerned about. This myth is dispelled through workshops on brain health, games that promote healthy brain habits, and one-on-one sessions.
